As a belated Easter gift we present you with HIPHOP STORYTIME by Roots and Wings, with our very own maverick percussionist Rob Kitchen. According to Rob, the only thing kids love as much as books is beat-boxing, therefore it seemed only logical to combine the two. HIPHOP STORYTIME is inspired in equal measure by Rob’s experience of fatherhood and the shared joys of father and son reading together, Rob’s professional commitment to improving literacy levels across the east end of Newcastle, and one man’s crazy dream of going viral.
