MiLAN Collective

Website for creativity-embracing North East healthcare professionals

The MiLAN Collective was established in 2014 and represents a coming together of individuals from across the healthcare and creative arts sectors with the aim of championing the role of the Arts and Humanities in medical education and healthcare. They curated their inaugural MiLAN Film Festival in Feb 2015 in partnership with Newcastle University and the collective has been expanding ever since, with their recent 2017 film festival (‘From Medicine With Love’) attracting guest speakers to discuss medical and health-related topics from Autism to Environmentalism. They also run a themed book group in association with Blackwell’s, Newcastle. We hope the collective continues its great work exploring the intersections between health and the Arts, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
