World Record News Story
We were stoked when Newcastle University told us they’d like us to be involved in their attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most People Participating in a Treasure Hunt’ on July 9th. Roots and Wings was drafted in to design the clue cards to guide the children on their epic quest as they traversed the Newcastle-Gateshead quayside. Although it’s yet to be officially confirmed, the fact that over 1000 kids turned up makes us pretty confident that the new record will stand, blasting the previous record of 466 out of the water. We’ll get the video online as soon as we get the word from the Guinness officiators, who seem to be taking their time about it…I can’t imagine why. #theblackstuff
